Nancy Abel Morgan, 93, of Hendersonville, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Morgan, parents; Ralph Kenneth Abel and Grace Bean Abel, siblings; R.K. "Sonny" Abel Jr., Lester David Abel, Jack Abel, Lucille Abel Spence and John Charles Abel, daughter-in-law, Sharon Morgan and grandsons; Chris and Jason Morgan. Survived by children; Ralph Morgan (Natalie), David Morgan (Janice) and Gerald Morgan (Jeanie), grandchildren; Tommy Morgan, Jarrod Kindred, Madalyn Morgan, Dave Morgan, Brian Morgan, Kristen Morgan and Daniel Morgan, great-grandchildren; Kyndall Morgan, Emory Morgan, Trip Morgan, Cole Morgan, Mason Morgan, Asher Morgan and Mila Morgan. Nancy is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Nancy was born on November 14th, 1926 in Spring City, Tennessee. She was raised in Dayton, Tennessee where she met and married her husband of 70 years, Tom Morgan. They moved to Chattanooga and later to Hendersonville where they resided at The Hearth of Hendersonville. Nancy worked for 17 years at Kmart and was a member of Brooks Memorial UMC. She enjoyed traveling with Tom, collecting anything with butterflies on it, thimbles that her family would find for her and bells. Nancy was a strong woman and loving mother who was proud of her grandchildren who would call her "Granny". She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of life service for Nancy will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Gathering for family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM until the hour of the service. Burial will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Nancy's memory to Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church, 1543 Mercer Street, Lupton City, TN, 37351.
