Nancy J. Holloway

Nancy J. Holloway, beloved mother and friend, passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born on April 9, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, the city that she called home throughout her life.

Nancy was a loving and devoted mother to her two daughters, Dawn ( Dave) Stansbury and Christy (Tony)  Paulson. She cherished her role as a mother and dedicated herself to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for her children. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Malcolm and Margaret Ketchum, her loving husband Barry Holloway, and her fur baby Spanky. In addition, Nancy is survived by her grandchildren Taylor Lary, Cody Lary, Julien Paulson, and Jasmine Paulson, great-grandchildren Leland, and Jordan, and sister Sally (Bobby) Winters along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Nancy's unconditional love and selflessness were apparent in every aspect of her life.

Throughout her life, Nancy touched the hearts of those around her with her kindness and compassion. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. Her warm smile and gentle spirit would brighten any room she entered.

In addition to being a devoted mother, Nancy had a zest for life that was contagious. She had an adventurous spirit and embraced new experiences with enthusiasm.

We will forever cherish the memories we shared with Nancy. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew her. Although our hearts are heavy with grief at her passing, we find solace knowing that she is at peace.

A visitation will be held on November 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home located at 353 E Main St in Hendersonville, TN. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The final interment will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, also located at 353 E Main St in Hendersonville, TN, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Dawn Stansbury and Christy Paulson, and all of her family and friends.
