Myrlen C. Britt, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Myrlen was born on July 21, 1935, in Lexington, Tennessee to William and Euna Britt.

Myrlen grew up on the farm in Western Tennessee along with his 9 siblings. It was his upbringing that led him to authoring 6 books detailing his life. Myrlen worked as a manager in retail stores throughout his career. He was a loving husband, dad, and paw paw. He met the love of his life Dolores Faye Bowen and celebrated 57 years of marriage. Myrlen and Faye were members of the Nashville Road Church of Christ. His love and laughter will be missed.

Myrlen is preceded in death by his parents William and Euna as well as all his siblings. He is survived by his wife Faye; daughters Renee Britt and Michelle (John) Cook; son Rodney (Paula) Britt; grandchildren Josh (Leslie) Britt, Morgan (Drew) Dulaney, Kaitlyn (Abram) Pryor, Logan (MacKenzie) Britt, and Hailey Britt. In addition, Myrlen is survived by his great-grandchildren Aniston, Cal, Archie, Cooper, Graham, Keller, Price, Cohen as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, beginning at 11am at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
