Mrs. Myra Blanche Estes, age 79, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on August 19, 2019. She was born in Newfoundland, Canada on February 13, 1940 to the late Fredrick and Alvina Blake.

Myra loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and spending a lot of her time shopping. She married the love of her life, Mr. Joseph Estes, Sr. in July of 1959 and together they had 3 children.

Myra is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Estes, Sr.; children, Sharon Colleen Layne, Joanne Delane Wilson, and Joseph Andrew Estes, Jr.; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Roswell; and one brother, Robert Blake.

A life celebration will be held at 2:30pm, Friday, August 23rd at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Thursday evening. Internment will be Monday, August 26 at 10am at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
