Mrs. Minnie Frances Oliver, 87, of Gallatin, TN departed to her eternal home on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born to the late Charlie and Cora Moss in Smith County, TN on October 1, 1929. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Earl Russell Oliver Sr. Survived by her children, Lavana Eidson (Jerry), Earl Russell Oliver Jr. (Shelia), Tammy Miller (Perry), Earlene Simpson; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; along with a host of family and friends.
Minnie was a devoted Christian who attended Victory Missionary Baptist Church faithfully for 43 years. She was the rock of her family and would do absolutely anything for them. Minnie wasn't only a great cook but she was known for her famous fried peach pies. She was known for her unique laugh and the way she treated everyone exactly the same.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hendersonville on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12p.m. Pastor Tim Binion will be officiating with her beloved grandsons serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2015 from 4 to 8p.m. Visitation will also be held at the Church from 10a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
