WOOD, Mildred A. "Millie" - Age 76 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on February 11, 2012. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Charles "Chuck" Wood. Survived by three children, Becky McWhorter Frank, Mark Wood and Susan Smart Robert. The special Joy of her life was loving and enriching the lives of her nine grandchildren, Ashley Matt, Brent, Rachel, Logan, Grant, Reagan, Allison, Tess and Eli. She was a faithful member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. She also derived much joy in her role as a substitute teacher at Gene Brown Elementary. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of their friends for their love, encouragement, visits and prayers. A Life Celebration will be held 2pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Hendersonville Church of Christ with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2pm – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home; 1pm – 2pm Wednesday at the church.
