Ms. Mildred Elrod, age 76, of Hendersonville, passed away on March 14, 2019. She was born on August 30, 1942 in Madison, TN to the late Andrew and Georgia Gregory.
Mildred enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her sister, Mary Jane. She loved to make people smile. She worked many years in the garden department at Lowes and had an avid love for flowers and she loved to be around people. She was a beautician for many years, and was well remembered for her time working at The Curling Cottage. She was truly an amazing mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Bobby (Rebecca) Elrod, and Brian (Tammy) Elrod; four grandchildren, Kaylor, Andrew, Connor, and Matthew; and one sister, Mary Jane Tuttle.
A life celebration will be held at 1pm, Monday, March 18, 2019 at Long Hollow Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at the church Sunday from 3-8pm and again from 11-1pm at the church prior to the service. Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home, and Cremation Service are in charge of arrangements.
