Mike Hines, age 69, of Hendersonville passed away on January 22, 2024. He was born on January 31, 1954 to the late Charles and Ruth Hines in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Mike was a man of many passions. One of these passions was his love for cars. He enjoyed attending car shows and sharing his enthusiasm with fellow automobile enthusiasts. As a proud member of a Corvette Club, Mike found great joy in spending time with like-minded individuals who shared his appreciation for these remarkable vehicles. On top of his passion for cars, Mike was also an avid motorcyclist. He embraced the freedom that riding provided him and was an active member of a Harley club. In addition to his love for motorcycles and cars, Mike thoroughly enjoyed bass fishing. He and his wife, Megan, were even a part of a bowling team.
Mike was proud to be a member of Local Union IBEW 429 and was also a retired Shriner.
Above all, Mike loved his family very much.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Hines and Danny Hines; and his brother-in-law, Scott Parry.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Megan Hines; his children, Crystal Blanton (Troy) and Toby Hines (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jordan Blanton, Jacob Blanton, Natalie Blanton, and Rachael Balke; his sister, Nancy Westbrook (Joey); his sisters-in-law, Teresa Hines, Joyce Elaine Dugan, Leigh Ann Barrett, Kay Duncan (Scotty); and his brothers-in-law, Billy Cox (Jennifer), Gary Staggs (Denise), Stephen Staggs (Kim), and Alan Cox; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved Mike.
A memorial visitation will be held for Mike on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
Though our hearts ache with grief, let us also smile as we reflect upon the memories we shared with Mike Hines. May his legacy live on in our hearts forever.
