Micki Lavonne Hunter

Micki Lavonne Hunter, age 63, passed away on September 15, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was born on October 18, 1959 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Harold Hunter, Sr. and Jacqueline T. Hunter. 

Micki is survived by her brother, Harold Hunter, Jr. (Tania L. Hunter); niece, Carianna R. Hunter; and nephews, Devyn G. Hunter and Julian D. Hunter.

Micki was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1985 and her master’s of science and counseling in 1994 from Tennessee State University.  Micki enjoyed tennis, reading and studying the Bible, listening to jazz music, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 949 Ts Jackson Street Nashville, Tennessee.
