Michael Joe Morgan, age 61, of Gallatin passed away on March 14, 2025. Mike was born on July 15, 1963 to Joe and Sandra Morgan in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Mike lived a life illuminated by his unwavering devotion to his wife and enriched by memorable adventures.
A proud graduate of Hendersonville High School, Mike carried with him the values instilled in him during his formative years. He was a man of faith, attending Long Hollow Baptist Church, where his spirit resonated with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His personality, warm and inviting, drew people into his orbit, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
Mike's true joy stemmed from the numerous travels shared with his beloved wife, where every journey became a cherished memory crafted from laughter and love. The sights he beheld were mere backdrops to the stories they created together. In the company of his greatest companion, no distance felt too far, nor any destination insurmountable.
An aficionado of drag racing, Mike embraced the adrenaline and excitement that came with watching the roar of engines and the thrill of competition. These moments, laden with passion and enthusiasm, reflected his zest for life. Yet, beyond hobbies and interests, it was his love for his wife that stood as his proudest accomplishment—a testament to the profound bond they shared.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Joe Morgan.
Mike is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 35 years, Denissa Morgan; his mother, Sandra Morgan; his brother, Freddy Morgan (Kristi); his nephews, Reece Morgan and Ryan Morgan; and brother in law, Butch Parrish.
Visitation for Mike will be held from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) and again on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the same location. The funeral service for Mike will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in the Draper Cemetery in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee.
