Melissa Clore Alexander-Manning, age 43 of Gallatin, TN passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Melissa was born May 24, 1968 to James Dollar and Barbara Mierzwik Clore in Houston, TX. She was a graduate of Deer Park High School in Deer Park, TX. She later moved to Nashville, TN where she worked in radio as the Marketing Director at Lightning 100, a career that was intertwined with her passion for music and singing. She spent the last nine years living in Gallatin with the love of her life, Santana Manning. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Isabella. She loved her family and she loved her Lord. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by the love of her life, Santana Manning; her daughter, Isabella Marie Clore-Manning; mother, Barbara Clore of Buckholtz, TX; brother, Mark D. Debbie Clore; nieces, Rachel and Megan Clore; nephew, Connor Clore; Santana's parents, David and Monika Manning; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A life celebration service will be conducted at 10 A.M., Saturday, July 16, 2011 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M., Friday, July 15, 2011 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Isabella Manning Education Fund in care of Pinnacle Bank, 270 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
