Melba Sadler

SADLER, Melba Ann - of Nashville, TN- laid down her tired earthly body and went home to be with her lord on September 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Sadler, Jr., her father Willie Gross, her mother, Lela Gross and sisters, Pinky Oldham, Carnell Oldham, Janie Nickens, and Deane Sircy. She will be missed by her 4 sons, Mike Sadler, Ken Sadler, Paul Sadler and Randy Sadler along with 7 grandchildren, Shannon Sadler, Reverend Brent Sadler, Blair Crist, Mia Sadler, Kim Sadler, Melanie Sadler and McKenzie Sadler and great-granddaughters Anne, Lydia and Joy Sadler, and Katherine Crist. Ann had a true servant's heart and spent her life not only raising four boys but also helping others in any way she could. She was a long time member of New Hope Church of Christ and the River Road community. The Life Celebration service will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at 12noon, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Alive Hospice or Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm, and on Wednesday from 11am until the service hour at WEST HARPETH.
