Mary Elizabeth St. Amour

Mary Elizabeth St. Amour, 86, passed away on February 7, 2025. She was born on September 8, 1938, in Houston, Texas, to Buel Cox, Sr. and Mary Cox. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her joyful spirit and love for her family.

She graduated from St. Agnes Academy and continued her studies at Volunteer State Community College. Mary enjoyed many activities throughout her life, including floral design, landscaping, cooking, and politics. She loved singing, playing Bridge, bowling, and was known to enjoy casino games. Her favorite food was Mexican, and she cherished moments spent with her grandchildren. Christmas was particularly special to her.

Mary is survived by her three children: Marianne St. Amour Champiny (Russ), Michele St. Amour King (William C. King, Jr.), and Mark St. Amour (Meredith); her grandchildren, Caitlin Champiny Creech, Kevin Champiny, William C. King III, Cameron King, Jilian King, Rachel King, Brandon King, Harrison King, Benton King, Hudson St. Amour, Henley St. Amour, and Mary Charles St. Amour; and one great-grandchild, Grace Creech.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Frederick St. Amour; her son, Michael "Mick" St. Amour, Jr.; and her brothers, Buel Cox, Jr., Robert Cox, and Thomas P. Cox.

A visitation and funeral service for Mary will be held on February 13, 2025, at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075. The visitation will start at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
