Mary Rogers

ROGERS, Mary Sargent Age 87 of Nashville, formerly of Hickman County passed away Oct 3, 2011. Mrs. Rogers loved cooking, dancing, gospel music, decorating cakes for weddings, and her family and friends. She was a quick witted woman who loved life to the fullest. She was also member of Centerville United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, William & Barnzo Middleton; first husband, Willie Sargent; daughter, Kathy Sargent Raybon; brothers, Harry, Ward and Clyde Middleton; sister, Maxine Kreutzer. Survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Herman Rogers; daughter, Lisa Conklin Wade; grandchildren, Will Conklin and Wendy Hardaway Jesse; great-grandchild, Jade Hardaway; brother, David Middleton Alice; several nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at West Meade Place. A graveside service will be held 2pm Wednesday at Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm - 7pm Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers dontations may be made to Centerville United Methodist Church or St. Paul Christian Academy.
