Mrs. Mary Sharon Ratcliff, age 75, of Hendersonville, TN, went to be with her Lord Sunday, November 19, 2017.

Mrs. Ratcliff, daughter of the late John Gallagher and Ann Waldenberger Gallagher, was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 1, 1942. She lived in Farmingdale, NY for eighteen years before moving to Hendersonville, TN with her family in 1987. Mrs. Ratcliff was an active parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Church where she participated in many ministries, including serving for Room In The Inn for twenty years. She enjoyed working with youth, crafting, baking, and quilting. Mrs. Ratcliff will be remembered for her original invention "cup-a-cake". She had a great sense of humor and was proud of her Irish heritage. Mrs. Ratcliff had a strong love for church and family. Her brilliant smile and welcoming arms made everyone she met feel genuinely loved and accepted.

Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Dan Ratcliff, Sr.; a daughter, Kelly Ratcliff; three sons, John Ratcliff (Carey), Dan Ratcliff, Jr. (Stefania), and Dave Ratcliff (Joslyn); five grandchildren, Noah Ratcliff, Dorothy Ratcliff, Mary Ratcliff, Jack Ratcliff, and Kelly Ratcliff; and a sister, Theresa McConnell. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017, at eleven o'clock, Our Lady of the Lake Church.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from four o'clock until eight o'clock and Saturday from ten o'clock until the funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church. A Rosary will be held Friday at seven thirty in the evening at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Room In The Inn, 705 Drexel Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
