Mary Elizabeth McAuley of Hendersonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2015. She was 14. Born on May 24, 2001 to parents Tommy and Rachel McAuley and brothers Grant (18) and Griffin (15). Mary is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tom and Joy McAuley. She is survived by her parents, Tommy & Rachel; brothers, Grant & Griffin; grandparents, Charles & Eben Appleton; uncles, Tim McAuley, Jeff Vitelli, John McCoy & Rick Zampatti; aunts, Susan High-McAuley, Robin Vitelli, Loree Vitelli & Susie Zampatti; cousins, Jill & Anna Vitelli, Lucas & Avery McCoy, Anne Martin and Sam McAuley.

Mary was an 8th grader at T.W. Hunter Middle School in Hendersonville. She loved going to school to show everyone what her Mom had dressed her in. She loved all of her teachers, nurses and school friends. Her legacy was her smile and her abilities, not her disabilities. Mary enjoyed playing with baby dolls, going to the farm, visiting the horses, laughing at her dogs, competing in triathlons, and watching her favorite TV shows: The Andy Griffith Show, Little House on the Prairie, and Cops. Mary was such a blessing to her family and everyone she met. She was loved by so many family members and friends.

Visitation at Hendersonville Church of Christ, Monday, September 7th, from 10-2 & 4-8; Tuesday, September 8th, from 10-12.
Funeral at Hendersonville Church of Christ, Tuesday, September 8th at 12 with David Swanger officiating.
Burial at Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral Home immediately following funeral service.
