Mary Ellen Parrish Frizzell, beloved mother of Lauri and Gary went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2024 leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born September 18, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee to Dewey and Edna Parrish. She graduated from North High School. She Went on to work at National Life and the IRS.
Mary was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. But her children were her pride and joy. She often said that their births changed her life for the better. They felt that in her constant love and support. Mary took special joy in her children, grand children, and great grandchildren.
She also shared a great life with her husband Billy as they went through this life experiencing wonderful adventures and their family. Their love was an inspiration to all that knew them.
She also found immense happiness in her friends. A wonderful group of women she found later in life. Those sweet ladies adventures were legendary. They shared a unique kindness and understanding. Mary’s faith was her steadfast and support always.
Mary was a beautiful and amazing woman whose spirit will never diminish.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers James and Douglas, husband Billy. She is survived by her children Lauri (Ron) and Gary (Annette), her grandchildren Nicholas (Yaritza), Harrison (Judy), Dominique (Barrington), Sierra (Steve), Deja (Reilly) and all 12 of her great grandchildren who will never forget the love she brought to their life’s.
Mary’s final resting place will be with her husband in Nashville, Tennessee.
