Martha Lyell

Martha Jean Lyell, age 85, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28, 2022 in her son's home surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dyretha Minton, husband John Douglas Lyell and brothers Charlie and Wayne Minton.

Survivors include her son, Terry (Bonnie) Lyell; grandchildren Christina (Nathan) Lee, and Melissa (Brandon) Farmer; great-grandchildren Zachary, Zoe, Aurora and Annora Lee, and Cameron and Jaxon Farmer; and brother James Minton.

Martha was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville.

Visitation will take place from 4pm-8pm Monday, October 3 and again from 10am-11am on Tuesday, October 4, with the funeral service to follow at 11am.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation and funeral will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home at 353 Johnny Cash Parkway, Hendersonville.  Interment follows at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens directly after the service.
