Ms. Marlene Eleanor Andrews Schneider, age 84, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2019 in Franklin, KY; formally a resident of Old Hickory, TN. She was born in Cooperstown, NY on December 28, 1934 to the late Wendell Andrews and Leona Thomas. She is also preceded in death by one sister and one grandson, Michael Schneider.
Marlene was born in Cooperstown, NY at Mary Bassett Hospital. By the time she made it to her senior year in high school, at Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady NY; she had moved nine different times due to her mother passing away. After graduating high school, she attended Northeaster Bible Institute with majoring in Bible and minoring in music.
Marlene loved Jesus and all of her children. She also loved Willie Nelson and the Gaither Vocal Band. Dancing was something else she loved, but she loved animals more. "I will dance in heaven and pray there will be animals too!" She was truly an amazing mother who will be truly missed.
Her challenge to her family is to "carry on our lives, putting the Lord first, love and fear God."
Marlene is survived by her children, Debbie (Larry) Hitt, David (Linda) Oster, Ross Schneider, and Ron Fielding; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A life celebration service will be held at 12pm Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
