He is preceded in death by his Mother, Vesta June. He is survived by his, father, Robert Lee Merrick, Sr. (Pamela Brown), sisters, Theresa Ann Merrick Alegria (Ray), and Stacey Lynn Williams Mize (Chad), brother, Robert Lee Merrick, Jr. (Laura), 1 niece, and 5 nephews. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
