Marilyn Capps

Marilyn Capps, age 75 of Hendersonville, TN passed away at home on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Marilyn was born June 28, 1943 in St. Charles, MI, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Zajac) Rehmann.

She was a devout Catholic her entire life, most recently attending Our Lady of the Lake after relocating to Hendersonville 5 years ago. After retiring from her 17 year career with GM, Marilyn loved to travel and spent a lot of time traveling the country. She was also especially fond of gardening and loved to do seamstress work. Above all else, Marilyn loved God and her family and enjoyed spending every chance she could with them.

Marilyn is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Richard Capps. Also surviving are her children, Jackie (Rick) Griffiths, Randy Rusz, Michelle (Bryan) LaFrance, Andrea (Jason) Robertson, Eric Capps and Shana Capps; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Roberta) Rehmann and Nick (Barb) Rehmann; sister, Kathleen (John) Sutorik. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Coon as well as her beloved collie, Cayman.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5-8pm at Kendall Funeral Home (316 W Belle Ave, St Charles, MI 48655) and again on Friday, 12-1pm at St. Peter Parish (404 S Wood St, Chesaning, Michigan 48616) where a mass of Christian burial will be held at 1pm with interment following the service at St. Mary's Cemetery of St. Charles.
