Maria Donnette Richardson of Hendersonville passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at the age of 71. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edith Davis (Cater), husband, Robert Martin Gann and brother, Kenneth Wayne Davis. Survived by her children, Jeanine and Buddy, grandchildren, Michael Ray Langford Jr., Robby Langford and Rob Gann, brother, Mike Davis (Linda), sister, Judy Wingo and sister-in-law, Brenda Davis. Maria is also survived by her beloved dog "Lucy" along with many extended family and friends.

Maria was born on July 4, 1947 in Anniston, Alabama. She moved to Hendersonville early on and attended Hendersonville High School. She worked at Sullivan's in Hendersonville and later worked as a systems analyst for Service Merchandise and as a bookkeeper with Sofa Connection. Maria loved doing crafts and gardening. She was a great cook and her family enjoyed her biscuits and gravy the most. Maria was a strong, good hearted woman who will be dearly missed by her family and by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, January 14th at 11am, officiated by Pastor Jerry Peace. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4pm-8pm and again on Monday, one hour prior to the service. Entombment will take place following the service in the Mausoleum.
