Margie Scott

Margie H. Scott of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, April 27th at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her husband Billie Scott and her first husband, James W. Hendrix, parents, W.C. Hollandsworth and Mary Blair, daughter-in-law, Helenmary Hendrix along with a brother and several sisters. Survived by her sons, Mike Hendrix and Pat Hendrix (Sandi), brother, Jimmy Hollandsworth (Velma), 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Margie is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Margie was born on February 13, 1922 in Woodbury, Tennessee. She was homemaker most of her life and her family describes her as being a great person and loving mother and grandmother. Margie enjoyed hamburgers from Jumbo & Delicious, loved baseball and enjoyed watching her sons coach baseball.

A celebration of life service for Margie will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 1:00PM. There will be no public visitation before the service. Entombment will be private for the family following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Margie's name to the Helenmary Hendrix Scholarship Fund which can be made through the HHS Dugout Club at Hendersonville High School.
