Margie Y. Altevers of Goodlettsville, TN passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at home. Margie was born December 15, 1948 in West Point, NE, eldest daughter of Dale and Twila (Soll) Schleusener. Margie worked for many years as a property manager, as well as a server and student loan advisor; serving others being the common theme. She was like a second mom to her 3 younger siblings and will be fondly remembered as a great listener with a caring ear. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and crocheting, as well as spending time with her dogs and cats. Suriving are her mother, Twila Schleusener; brothers, Keith (Mary) Schleusener, Lyle (Sally) Schleusener and Chris Schleusener (Suzie Rosenberg); several nieces and nephews. Marge was preceded in death by her father, Dale Schleusener. Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7 from 10-11am at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075) where a memorial service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow, Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
