Marcia Ann Twait, age 63 of Gallatin, TN was born on August 16, 1953 to Eugene and Mary Ann (Pauley) Gaworski in Fairmont, MN. She passed away on August 13, 2017 after a short, but valiant battle with cancer.
Marcia, the oldest of seven siblings, spent her youth growing up in Fairmont, MN, attending St. John Vianney Catholic School and Fairmont High School (class of 1971).
Marcia married the love of her life, James Twait, on January 12, 1973 in Canton, SD. They would later be joined by their only daughter, Rachel. They lived for many years in Ringsted, IA where they farmed and Marcia's cooking and baking would be loved by family and friends. In the 1980's, the family would move to Sioux Falls, SD where Marcia would work at John Morrell & Co. Marcia and Jim moved to the South in 1993 where she continued to work within the meat packing industry with some of her dearest friends to date and would spend the past decade working with the Alabama Department of Corrections until her retirement in October 2016. They built their new home in Gallatin, TN to enjoy retirement and be close to their daughter.

Marcia loved the simple things in life...her adorable poodles that were just a part of the family and went everywhere with her and James. Listening to the sweet sounds of the Minnesota loons on youtube, following the bald eagles on eagle-cams via social media. Annual trips to the beach, and spending time going to art and antique festivals, baking Norwegian treats of lefse and kringla at the holidays, listening to the band HomeFree, making crafts and jewelry with Rachel and just being with her family.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 ½ years, James of Gallatin, TN; her only daughter, Rachel Twait Dean of Gallatin, TN; her stepmother, Ramona Gaworski of Fairmont, MN; sister Lynn Kelley and her husband, Larry, of Boise, ID; brother Paul Gaworski and his wife, Lynn, of Waukesha, WI.: sister Karen Shoen and her husband, Alan, of Truman, MN.: brother Mark Gaworski of Okoboji, IA; brother John Gaworski of Ft. Worth, TX; and sister Theresa Winter and her husband, Dean, of St. Peter, MN. Her many aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish her memory are her fur-babies, Heidi & Hilde and grand fur-baby, Little Bit.
Marcia is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Pauley Gaworski and her father, Eugene Gaworski. Her father-in-law, Bernard Twait and mother-in-law, Pearl Twait. Sister-in-law, Stephanie Gaworski. Her other fur-babies, Muffin, Precious, Mini Pearl, and Caila.

Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark Gaworski, Paul Gaworski, Erik Olson, Dean Winter, Michael Winter, Lance Wooldridge, Bill Spooner, and Joe Spooner.
