Mabel Cochran

Mabel Offi Cochran, age 77 of Hendersonville, TN, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2017. Mabel was born May 23rd in Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents Alice and Marshall Offi, husband Delmar, and sons Shawn and Alan. She is survived by daughter Tammy, grandson Shawn, and son in law Andy.

Before moving to Tennessee in 1991, Mabel and Delmar raised their family in Northeast Ohio. She was active in her community, hosting Cystic Fibrosis fundraisers, managing her daughters band, and being the first female Cub Master for the Boy Scouts in Ohio. Many may not have known, she was also a private investigator.

Mabel spent 20 years as a real estate agent in middle Tennessee. Real estate was her passion. She was kind, understanding, and never met a stranger. Her greatest love was her grandson Shawn Alan. Spending time with him was her purest joy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many.
A memorial service for Mabel will be held at a later date in Ohio.
