Lucille Lawson
December 13, 1936-October 29, 2023
Our beloved Lucille (Lucy) gained her angel wings on the evening of October 29th, 2023. She was born in Jackson County to Bedford & Lola Richardson, and lived most of her life in Hendersonville with her husband of 68 years, Russ. She retired from Sumner County School district. Lucille lived a full life surrounded by a large family including many siblings, nieces, and nephews. She and Russ spent many long weekends and summers traveling the country with their children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Lawson; brothers, Mitchell & Joe Neal Richardson; son, Jackie (Brenda); grandchildren, Jaci (Wade) Kirkham and Joey Williams; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Edwards, her parents, and 13 siblings.
Funeral services will be provided by Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1 from 4-6 pm and Thursday, November 2 from 11 until noon with the funeral immediately following.
