Lt. Col. Donald Dallenbach

Donald A. Dallenbach, age 88 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Don was born on June 23, 1934 in New Brunswick, NJ. He was the son of the late Walter and Myrtle Elizabeth Lynch Dallenbach.

Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife Laurie Dallenbach; daughter Tracey Dallenbach; brothers Walter Dallenbach, Michael Dallenbach. Don is survived by his son Don Dallenbach (Denise); sister Sue Dallenbach Tricario; grandsons Dylan Dallenbach and Drew Dallenbach; dear friends he considered family Bobby and Lana Huff. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Don will be held at 1pm on the afternoon of Monday, February 13, 2023 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10am-1pm on the morning of Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Hendersonville Funeral Chapel. Military honors will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Don attended and graduated from South River High School in South River, NJ and he also attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Jersey City, NJ. Don attended flight school at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Don served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1976 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served his country proudly with dignity and honor. Don was a very loved and respected member of his community, belonging to a host of different clubs and associations. He will be deeply missed and loved by his family and friends.
