Louise Cage- age 80 of Hendersonville passed away May 28, 2014. Louise was born on July 4, 1933 in Hendersonville, TN where she lived her entire life. The Cage family was one of the first families that settled in Hendersonville some of whom actually lived in the historic Rock Castle. Louise was a woman of faith and was a past member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. During her working years she proudly served as an Accountant for the Tennessee Department of Transportation retiring after 44 years of service. She also loved animals and never turned down a hungry animal. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Elmcroft for the loving care that was given to Louise for the past 10 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Berry & Ethel Cage; brothers, Eugene & Harry Cage; sister, Emma West; niece, Brenda Cage; nephews, Randy West and James Cage. She is survived by her nephews, Don & Gary Cage, David, Jim, Joe and Terry West; nieces, Cathy Lindstrom & Mary Ann Cage; several great nieces and nephews also survive.
A life celebration service will be held on Friday 11 a.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.
