Lorena Stevens

STEVENS, Lorena McCord – Age 84 of Nashville passed away on October 21, 2011. Mrs. Stevens was a very big hearted, selfless, loving woman. Mrs. Stevens and Sonny kept 16 foster children throughout their lives along with their own 5 children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling and especially being with her family. She was a member of River Road Church of Christ for over 65 years. Preceded in death by her infant son, Wendell Stevens. Survived by her devoted loving husband of 66 years, Jesse James Sonny Stevens; children, Virginia Elise Stevens, Peggy Ann Stevens John Daniel, Timothy James Stevens Beverly and Paul Anthony Stevens; grandchildren, Brooke Nicole Jones, Jake Logan Stevens, Meredith Lainie Stevens and Elisabeth Rose Stevens; great-grandchildren, Chase Jones, Cadence Jones and Conner Jones; sister, Beulah Binkley. A Life Celebration will be held 10am Monday at West Harpeth Funeral Home with burial to follow at Moss Cemetery in Hickman County. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
