Loren Cassell

Loren Cassell: Born May 23, 1951 to Robert Clem Cassell and Nadeane Melson Cassell. His spiritual birthday was in 1970 at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, under the ministry of Pastor Chuck Smith. Loren passed into the presence of the Lord on May 7, 2021.
Loren is survived by Armeda JoAnn, his wife of thirty-six years, three children: Michael Levi Cassell, Renee Lela Cassell, and Allissa Brooke Cassell, his brother, Brian Lyle Cassell, and sister, Caren Lee Harville, along with 13 grandchildren, an uncle, aunts, and cousins. Loren is also survived by a huge church family of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Loren served in the United States Air Force and had a lengthy career at Litton and Teledyne as electrical and test engineer, Boone Air parts as network Systems manager in California, and as a computer tech at Vanderbilt medical Center. A great love of Loren's heart was working and teaching in children's ministry in the churches where he worshipped. Loren and Armeda first met while serving together in children's ministry. Loren has loved and served the children of Calvary Chapel Long Hollow for the past 14 years in Sunday classes and VBS.
