Mr. Lloyd Odell Barber age 89, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020.

Mr. Barber was born in Franklin, KY, on March 14, 1931, the son of the late Benton McMillan Barber and Mary Louise Aldridge Barber. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Barber owned and operated L&R Transmission in Gallatin, TN for many years. He enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Barber was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gossard, and nine siblings.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Sharon Barber; six children, Vickie Moreland (Michael), Robert Barber (Tammy), Mark Barber, Wayne Barber, Sheila Roll (David), and Steven Barber (Melanie); ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Joe Barber. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
