Mrs. Linda Whitaker, 60, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born in Seymour, Indiana on Thursday, March 21, 1957. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, William Whitaker; mother, Ruby Spicer; son, Corey Whitaker; sisters, Sharon Pearson (Raymond), Margaret Buscemi (Dominic), Patricia Nugent (Pat); along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Ewin Earl Rowe and her daughter, Katrina Lynn Whitaker.

Linda was known as a devoted mother and great wife. She was wonderful at encouraging and was very strong no matter what circumstance. Linda enjoyed laughter and had a sense of humor that was contagious. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

A Life Celebration Service will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1pm(cst). Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5 until 8pm(cst). Visitation will also be held prior to the Life Celebration from 12pm until the hour of service. Entombment will be held in the Mausoleum of Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers all donations in memory of Linda Whitaker can be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Children's Diabetes Foundation.
