Linda Gail Saylor, 74, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 8, 2021. Linda is preceded in death by her son, Shawn D. Saylor, parents; Albert Cantrell, Sr. and Lula McCandless Cantrell, relatives; Charles Cantrell, Bettye Hudgens, Peggy Willis, Danny Cantrell and Albert Cantrell, Jr. Linda is survived by her son, Steven McCormick and sisters; Deborah Cantrell and Hope Hill along with many extended family and friends.

Linda was born on February 23, 1947 in Nashville, TN to the late Albert and Lula Cantrell. Linda was an optometrist and worked for Horner-Rausch, Wal-Mart and LensCrafters. She enjoyed gardening and raising her Yorkies, Rocky and Brute. Linda loved getting together with her family and friends for all the holidays with Christmas and Halloween being her favorites. She cherished the times spent with her sisters and siblings and loved them dearly. Linda had an infectious sense of humor that will be missed by everyone that knew her.

A celebration of life service will be held for Linda at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, on Saturday, March 13th at 12:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

The funeral home requests that those attending the visitation and/or the service to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
