PHARRIS, Lillian E., age 76 years, passed away September 17, 2011. She was a very successful business owner for many years. She owned Lillian's Hair Salon. She was a member of the Ladies Moose and the Eastern Star. She loved life and loved to laugh. She enjoyed traveling, watching Days of Our Lives and Dr. Oz. Preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ethel Green; husband, James L. Hammock; brother, Ed Green. Survived by her daughters, C. Gail Cole James, Debbie A. O'Guin Sammy, Tammy D. Taylor David; brother, Billy Harold Green, Sebring, FL.; sisters, Mary Edith Purvis Clifton, New Lebanon, Ohio; Betty Lois Tibbs Penny, Nashville, TN ; Janice Rose Petty Roy; grandchildren, Jason Trew, Jammie Cole, Jimmy Cole, Stephanie McCrary, Jennifer Hunt, Christopher O'Guin, Elizabeth Foster, Sarah Taylor, Natalie Talyor, Garrett Taylor; great-grandchildren, Haleigh Trew, Hayden Trew, Rolley Hunt, Koltin McCrary, Michael Cole, Hannah Cole, James Ryan Hunt, Kayla McCrary. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until service time at WEST HARPETH
