Lee Castrejon

August 21, 2001 — September 17, 2015

Born in Ontario, CA on August 21, 2001 Departed on September 17, 2015 and resided in Hendersonville, TN

Age 14 of Hendersonville, TN passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2015.
Lee loved his family and friends very much. In fact, those he loved most were the most influential in his life: his mom and dad; grandma, Virginia; sister, Alyssa; church leader, Rod; football coaches, Coach Bish, Coach Luttrell, and Coach Mash; and Mark Lalumondier. He enjoyed nature and being outdoors, whether, in the country, in the mountains, or at the beach. Cottontown held a special place in Lee's heart because it was the place where he found peace and could "recharge his batteries." He liked to ride ATVs, work on cars, hike, and play football. Collecting antiques was also one of his hobbies. When lifting his spirit in his free time he enjoyed listening to 80's Rock ‘n Roll and Christian music.
Lee, though he was a young man, leaves us with a unique legacy of compassion, modesty, generosity, and love. His favorite film was "Courageous" and he could watch it over and over because he loved the very morals and lessons it portrays. He, himself, had a strong sense of values and a beautiful moral compass. He aspired to be a man of godliness and courage, and hoped that his example would encourage others to do the same. He dreamed of joining the U.S. Marine Corp and serving his nation by defending freedom.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Mosqueda.
Lee leaves behind his mother, April Burr; stepfather, Nicholas Burr; father, Lee Castrejon; sister, Alyssa Castrejon; grandparents, Virginia and John O'Grady, George and Clare Burr, George and Anita Castrejon, Marie Silva; great-grandfather, Robert Gonzales; aunts and uncles, Ralph, Rachel (Kevin), Cindy (Ben), Katie (Shimano), Chris (Nora), Josh, Danny, John, Chris, Eileen, Ronnie, and Terry; several cousins; and best friends, Shyanna, Sean, Hailee, Azul, Christian, Zach, and Fallon.
