Lawrence B. Hall, 74 of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his home. Born in Somerset, KY he was the son of Lawrence R. Hall and Alma Bryant. He graduated Manual High School in 1960 and went on to receive his bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, IN in 1964 where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Larry served as a Captain in the United States Army. He was retired from General Electric Co. where he had worked as a salesman for 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed golf and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence R. Hall and also by his step-father, Homer Glass. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sue (Hawley) Hall; two sons, Gary and his wife Beth of Jackson, MI and Michael and his wife Susan of Murfreesboro, TN; his mother, Alma Glass of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his sister, Jacqueline and her husband Jim Callane of Kokomo, IN; his brother, Bill and his wife Vangie of Spencer, IN; an aunt, nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 13th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Hendersonville Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm Tuesday. Burial will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
