Mr. LaVon Albert Golter age 83, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019.

Mr. Golter was born in Arapahoe, Nebraska, on February 6, 1936, the son of the late Albert Emil Golter and Helene Suedmeyer Golter. He served in the United States Army, retired from a career at General Motors in 2003, and was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Golter was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Golter Divis.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, OraMae Siebert Golter; a daughter, Rebecca (and Adrian) Samuel; two sons, Calvin Golter and Greg (and Judy) Golter; four granddaughters, Wendy (and Michael) Le, Samantha Golter, January (and David) Catanese, and Ayla (and Jacky) Wong; three great-grandchildren, Jillian Catanese, Yuna Wong, and Mina Wong; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 30, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Bauch officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
