Larry Satterfield

Larry Satterfield, 69, of Hendersonville, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Clara Mathis Satterfield, and son, Scott Timothy Satterfield. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gina Satterfield, daughters, Julie (Matthew) Glynn and Lindsey Satterfield, brother, Garlin (Barbara) Satterfield, grandchildren, Timothy Satterfield, Andrew Glynn, Ethan Glynn and Elizabeth Glynn, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Larry will also be missed by his 3 dogs and 1 cat.

Larry was born on April 6, 1951 in Nashville, TN to the late Milton and Clara Satterfield. He worked for Peterbilt and Avco, as an aircraft mechanic. He proudly served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Larry was an avid bass fisherman who enjoyed fishing on Old Hickory lake. He was also an exceptional softball player and played on many championship teams. He took pride in his truck and his boat. He enjoyed vacations in Alaska and always seemed to know someone wherever he traveled. He loved being with his family and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
