Kunihiro Ichikawa, age 49, of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
Kuni was born in Japan on January 25, 1972; he was the beloved son of Takaya Ichikawa and Mitsuko Yanagisawa Ichikawa. He earned his Master's Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Toledo. Kuni was employed with New Mather Metals for 22 years. His hobbies included: reading books, riding bikes, dancing with his daughters, and walking his dog.
He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Angela Ichikawa, to whom he was married on January 2, 1998. Kuni was an extraordinarily wonderful, extremely patient, and amusing father. He never missed his children's dance performances or school activities and never failed to let his daughters, Savannah and Kambria Ichikawa know how proud he was of them.
He was a best friend to his younger brother, Takashi Ichikawa. Kuni was cherished as a son by Angela's parents, Elizabeth and Daymon McCartney, and as a brother-in-law by Daymon, sister-in-law Katie, and Nephew Kaden McCartney. Angela's entire family loved Kuni. He brought us immense joy and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Kunihiro was preceded in death by his Grandparents Tsunejiro and Yutaka Ichikawa, and Grandparents Katsuyori and Morie Yanagisawa.
