Kinsley Nicole deMontigny, 23, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Kinsley was born on September 17, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee to Gerald and Lori deMontigny.
Kinsley was a beautiful and fun-loving person. She had a great sense of humor, and a caring spirit. She could light up the room with her infectious smile. Kinsley loved all things Disney, she was a natural when playing the piano and guitar. Traveling was a passion. Snow skiing with her family in Snowshoe, West Virginia, Keystone, Colorado, Big Bear, California, horseback and ATV riding in Moab, UT, Glacier National Park, Hawaiian Islands and Grammys cabin in Wyoming were some of her favorite trips. Kinsley graduated from Station Camp High School (2018) where she was a member of the JR ROTC program. She participated in the Disney College Program, was a student at Western Kentucky University, and in her spare time, worked at The Texas Roadhouse in Bowling Green.
Kinsley is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jerry deMontigny, grandparents John and Jackie Bostelman, uncles Danny Bostelman and Eddie Bostelman; aunts Rhonda Young and Lisa Bostelman. She is survived by her loving parents Gerald “Paco” and Lori deMontigny; brother Ryan deMontigny; grandparents Sharon and Jerry Shane; and her “fur” baby Pomelia. In addition, she is survived and loved by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, and countless friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 2pm-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Hendersonville First Baptist Church on Monday, March 11, 2024, beginning at 11am with visitation beginning at 9am to service time. A committal service will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
In keeping with Kinsley’s love of rescue animals, the family requests that donations be made to the Sumner County Humane Society in her honor.
