In Loving memory of Kenneth Ray Zink who embraced his Lord Jesus on January 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Zink, and aunt and uncle Sarah and James Zink. He is survived by his devoted niece, Sandy Holder (Gene); son Brad Zink (Autumn); nephew Randy Stanfill (Tracey) and sister-in-law Kay White (Charles). He also leaves behind grandchildren, Chuck Zink (Chere), Abbye Hunnicutt (Adam) and Jared Zink (Christina); great nephew Blake Holder (Sydney) and great nieces Emily Holder and Randi Lynn Stanfill.
Kenneth loved the outdoors and spent many years fishing and hunting. He served his country in the Air Force, Air Guard, and had a long career as a sheet metal worker before retiring in 1997 from the Sheet Metal Union. He was devoted to his church and spent his final years socializing with friends at the local Krystal in Hendersonville and taking care of his dog Sweet Pea. Kenneth will be missed by his loved ones, but his memory will live on with each.
A celebration of life service for Kenneth will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Brian Johnson. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Brad Zink, Blake Holder, his best friend Buddy, Steven Thurman, Kevin Ball, Michael House.
