Age 91 of Hendersonville, TN was relieved of her earthly struggles and went to be with the Lord on the evening of October 28, 2015.
Kathleen will be forever remembered as a feisty, outspoken woman who had an incredible sense of humor which brought much joy to her family and friends over the years. Her warmth, kindness, and love will be missed, yet never forgotten. Her legacy will live on through the lives of her children.
During her lifetime, Kathleen enjoyed traveling to many places, her favorites included; Florida, New York, Hilton Head Island, and, the comfort of her very own home. She also occasionally gambled at several casinos which paid off every once-in-a-while. Bowling a few frames with friends often brought her joy and was a sport that offered an excellent atmosphere for fellowship. Additionally, she was an avid reader, always looking forward to the next novel she would pick up.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Greene and grandson, Wallace A. Carson.
Kathleen leaves behind her daughters, Dawn (Herbert) Wiese, Leta (David) Darnell; granddaughter, Stephanie (Chris) Francis; grandson, Charles A. (Sarah) Carson; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 on Friday, October 30 and again on Saturday, October 31 from 10-11. A life celebration will be held on Saturday following visitation at 11 a.m. All services will be held at the funeral home.
