June Jordan

Emily “June” Jordan, age 90, of Hendersonville, TN. passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 surrounded by her family. June was born on October 5, 1931 in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Ransom Ward and Emily Mae Gilbert Walker.

June is survived by her son Michael “Mike” Jordan (Edie); grandchildren Shelley Rippy (Donald), Angie Shaffer; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Rippy, Kyndal Shaffer, Blayne Shaffer. June was preceded in death by her husband Robert Jordan.

A Celebration of Life for June will be held at 12pm on the afternoon of Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

June was a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, where she taught Sunday School class for several years. June enjoyed her careers of being a dental technician and a beautician. In her free time, she loved to draw and paint.
