Julie Ann Armstrong Henderson, 69, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Julie was born March 9, 1950 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee to the late Henry Escue and Dorothy Briley Escue.

Julie went to Beech Elementary and Middle School in Hendersonville, TN, where she loved playing basketball on the team. She graduated from Maplewood High School, Nashville, TN in 1968. She began working at her first "real job" at Cain Sloan Department Store in Nashville TN. Shortly after getting married to Eddie Armstrong she was employed by a bank in Los Angeles, CA while they lived in Hollywood. Upon returning to Nashville, she landed a job she loved at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Pharmacology where she worked until starting a family.

Julie was a people person. She never met a stranger. She was quick to make conversation and had an infectious laughter. She loved to hug and would plant a kiss, if she could get by with it! She loved reminiscing about the good ole days of high school, her kids growing up, and vacations to Florida. Hands down, the beach was her favorite location, where she could feel the warm sand under her feet, gentle breeze flow through her hair, breathe in the salty air, and listen to the calm ocean waves kiss the shore.

We will love and miss you sweet Julie, until our Jesus comes to reunite us.ߌ¹
