Judy Yates

Judy Ellen Yates (Nichols), 77, of Hendersonville, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth (Bainey) Nichols, and daughter Kimberlee Yates Nielsen. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Yates, and brother, William “Bill” Nichols, both of Hendersonville, grandchildren, Brandon Ouelette and Elizabeth “Beth” Nielsen, both of Nashville. Judy is also survived by extended friends, Joe Lewis and Shirley Carter who join other family and friends in mourning the loss of a vibrant, joyful, and funny soul.

Judy was an organ donor, and no services will be held due to social distancing.

A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held in the spring.
