Judy Post

Judy K. Post, formerly of Newbern, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 at the age of 76. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel G. Post and her parents, L.Z. and Doris McDaniel. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Cathey (Larry) of Bartlett, TN and sons, Eric “Opie” Allen (Kelly) of Nashville, TN and Michael A. Post (Sherri) of Hendersonville, TN, sisters, Sandra Braddy of Dyersburg, TN and Kathy Giles of Dyersburg, TN along with her brother, Danny McDaniel of Dyersburg, TN. Judy is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Judy was born on April 1st, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN. She graduated from Dyersburg High School. Judy worked at Penguin as a receptionist. She enjoyed country line dancing, reading, westerns, cookbooks and traveling with her husband and friends.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main St., in Hendersonville on Thursday, October 7th from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Judy will be laid to rest at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Garden of Cross, at 1:00 PM on Thursday.
