Judy M. McRae-age 77 passed away September 29, 2016. She was born in Clarendon, TX. She was raised in Amarillo, TX. As a young woman she moved to California where she married the love of her life Lonnie McRae. They lived in several states and finally settled in Hendersonville, TN in 1971.

Judy was an avid bowler, playing in various leagues and on many occasions was a 300 bowler. She was also a ceramic teacher and owned her own shop for many years. Judy loved softball, and played on multiple co-ed and women's leagues in Hendersonville where she played as pitcher.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lonnie McRae; sons, Randall McRae of Whitehouse, Wayne McRae of Atlanta, and Lonnie McRae, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Savannah Leigh McRae, Erin Elizabeth McRae, and Trevor McRae.

A life celebration will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6pm with visitation held prior from 4pm-6pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3855 hendersonvillefh.com
