Judy Bloomfield

Judy Weiss Bloomfield, age 83 of Hendersonville TN. passed away on Monday, March 30th, 2020.

Judy was born and raised in Portland Oregon. In 1972, she moved to Hendersonville where she raised her family and spent 23 years teaching school in Sumner County. Her sense of humor was well known and appreciated by her students, teachers and all who knew her. It was often joked about who would go first, her 1997 Toyota Camry or her. The Camry is still alive.

Always a person who enjoyed physical activities, Judy participated in a variety of sports during her lifetime including tennis, snow skiing, softball, bowling and boating. She also was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing cards (especially bridge) & adored her pets.

Family was very important to Judy. Survivors include her loving and caring children Julie (Shawn) Morrison, Karen (Matt) Simmons, and Rick (Ellen) Bloomfield. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister-in-law Sharon Weiss and many nieces and nephews.
