Mrs. Beasley was born in Nashville in August 1941, where she grew up in East Nashville on Lischey Avenue surrounded by family and friends. She was a proud graduate of Isaac Litton High School and the Baptist School of Nursing which led to a lifelong nursing career.
When her family moved to Hendersonville, she met the love of her life, Dan and after dating for only a short time they married and quickly started building their family with Danny coming along in 1964 and Brent in 1965. The other love of her life was her extended family, her mom and dad, her sister, her sons, her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, and countless cousins spread all over the country.
Mrs. Beasley was a veteran of the Metro Nashville Health Department where she spent almost forty years as a nurse and administrator. She was a vaccination champion in Nashville, administering required shots for celebrities and musicians who needed them for travel to certain countries. She also served as the voice and face of many annual flu shot drives on local news stations.
She loved all things about being a nurse and was always quick to recommend it to anyone looking for their career path. She remained close with her fellow nursing classmates throughout her entire life.
She loved to travel and passed away with only two places remaining on her bucket list, Washington DC and Paris. Mrs. Beasley really loved Destin, especially the Cottage off old 98 and really loved The Red Bar in Grayton Beach especially on crab cake night.
